Leonardo's Last Supper

Leonardo da Vinci's masterpiece (1495-97) in the Refectory of Santa Maria delle Grazie is one of the most famous paintings in the world. Access is strictly limited.

Pinacoteca di Brera

One of the most important art museums in Italy, with masterpieces by Raphael, Caravaggio, Mantegna and Piero della Francesca. In the characteristic Brera district.

Navigli

The ancient canal system (13th-19th century) is today the heart of Milanese nightlife. The Naviglio Grande and the Naviglio Pavese are lined with bars, galleries and restaurants.

Castello Sforzesco

The Renaissance castle (15th century) of the Sforza family houses important museums, including the Museum of Ancient Art with Michelangelo's unfinished Rondanini Pieta.
